Hiking is one of our favourite hobbies! When we came across the Ball’s Falls Conservation Area we knew our search for the perfect venue was over. On May 22, you’ll have the chance to explore the upper and lower falls of the Twenty Mile Creek as well as a mid-19th-century industrial hamlet featuring the original Ball family home, an operating flour mill, a lime kiln, a church, black smith shop, carriage shed, and more.

The reception menu will be Southern BBQ served buffet style. Trust us when we say this food is amazing.
Main proteins will include Smoked St. Louis Style Pork Ribs with Zesty BBQ Sauce, Smoked Texas Brisket (Melodie’s favourite) with Amarillo BBQ Sauce, and Nashville Chicken Legs and Thighs with Alabama Sauce.
Veggie Towers with Portobellos, Zucchini, Roasted Peppers, Cherry Tomato, Goat Cheese, and Rosemary will be offered to all vegetarian guests.
Round out your plate with sides including Sweet and Savoury Salad with Pumpkin Seeds and Dried Cranberries, Pearl Couscous Salad with Fresh Herbs and Smoked Paprika, as well as Herb Roasted Potatoes.
Good luck paying attention during the ceremony… BBQ Gourmet will already be on-site cooking with their 18-foot competition style smoker.
